Jonathan Millard
Councillor Jonathan Millard is an Independent representative for Ebbw Vale South, serving since 2017 and re-elected in February 2024 with 60% of the vote. Born and raised in Blaenau Gwent and Oxford-educated, he lives in Hilltop and champions both local heritage and progress. His work includes streamlining council representation, leading road resurfacing, supporting schools such as Ebbw Fawr, and promoting environmentally friendly initiatives. Regionally, he’s served on the Gwent Police Crime Commissioner’s Panel and as a patient voice for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
